A view from a window on the Camino -

The view from the widow at an albergue (pilgrims' hostel) where I spent the night a couple of days before we arrived in Santiago. This albergue is one of the oldest still in use by the pilgrims - at least 500 years old. It was humbling to know that so many pilgrims had stayed there before me over the centuries. As a pilgrim on the Camino, one feels a great sense of history. One feels the presence of all the pilgrims and all of the footsteps that went before us.
